Silo distributor for freshly cut silage - has roller connected to reduction gear and tractor motor with radially projecting arms

The distributor for the freshly-cut silage in the silo consists of a roller (1) from which project radially arms (2) for chopping up the crop. The arms (2) are set at ninety degress from one another. The roller is coupled to a reduction gear (3). The reduction gear (3) is also fixed to a chassis (4) acting as a three-poing linkage for fixing the tractor. A cylinder (5) enables the roller to be lowered vertically. The gear (3) is connected on the drive side to the power takeoff. The rotational speed of the roller is kept very low so as not to make the rotational speed of the outer ends of the arms (2) too high.
