<p>The fuel injection timing control consists of a fuel injection pressure dependant switch for use with a strobe lamp and an engine crankshaft marking. The pressure depen dent switch is fitted between an injector and the fuel pump. The switch consists of a two part housing and forms the delivery pipe between injector and pump. A bleed screw (25) is provided. The housing contains a diaphragm (18) which is moved by injection pressure against a spring loaded bridge contact (23). The bridge makes contact with two strobe lamp connector terminals (19, 20) whose legs extend through the electrically insulated housing.</p> |
