This spinning top game comprises a playing board (1) supported by elastic plastic legs, or coil springs in a housing. The board has a deepened groove (2) along which the spinning top can be steered. The board can be provided at various points with contacts which can be closed by the foot of the top to switch on a light or lights (20) fitted on one housing. In use the equipment is placed on a table top and the top set in motion at the starting points of the groove. The player then puts his fingers in one or more of the finger ledges (14) round the board to tilt it by pressing against the sprung support, thus steering the top round the groove to the end target.
