<p>A hot-press for the surface treatment of wooden sheets, e.g. chipboards, plywood, wood fibre boards, has >=1 treatment plate(n) located in the press chamber and to be placed upon the board to be treated. The plate(n) is designed as a continuous web which may be hauled off a supply reel and passed through the press chamber at one or both sides of the board to be treated. The webs may be plastics film or paper. In the latter case, teh wt. is >=200 g/m2. The arrangement dispenses with the use of prior-art polishing metal sheets.</p> |
