PURPOSE:To obtain color mixture and distinctness with which an original is faithfully reproduced and to prevent offset to a heating roller from occurring by regulating a temperature difference at which the apparent melt viscosity of toner and a coating layer member becomes a specified value within an appropriate extent. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming method that a toner image is formed on the transparent coating layer provided on an image supporting body, the temperature difference is controlled so that the temperature difference at which the apparent melt viscosity of the toner and the coating layer member is 10<5> poises may satisfy a following formula 3<T2-T1<40 (T1: a temperature at which the viscosity of the toner is 10<5> poises and T2: a temperature at which the viscosity of the coating layer member is 10<5> poises). In the case that the temperature difference is <=3, the toner and the coating layer member is melted and integrated with each other when a fixing roller passes and the reproducibility of a thin line is disturbed. In the case that the temperature difference is >=40, the coating layer member is not thermally deformed at all when the roller passes, so that the toner and the coating layer do not adhere sufficiently and the toner is peeled off by being rubbed by a pawl, etc. |
