<p>An installation for the fine comminution of scrap material, in which the scrap is cooled to between -120 deg.C and -140 deg.C and fed to a rotating tool system, has a vertical cylindrical or multi angular container, the upper pocket section of which is in the form of a sealable sieve. The upper cover or closure cap (3) of the container may be removed from the construction and has a filler or feed funnel (4) which is of sealable or cutoff design. At least one comminuting tool support or mounting (6) is provided within the installation.</p> |
