<p>Composite profiled window or door section comprises two shaped metal pieces with interfacing protruding cross arms which have undercut grooves; the interval decreases towards the groove. Elastically deformable intermediate member of low-heat-conductivity material, has cross arms protruding towards the metal pieces, which have lugs on diverging sides to lock into the grooves. The cross arm (14') on the metal pieces (4) facing the window centre has an outside end bearing surface (19) at right angles to the window plane. In this area it is rigidly joined to the same section of the other cross arm (14). A foamed filling is provided for the space between this section transverse cross arm (24) and the deformable member's stem flanks (7) and transverse cross arm (7').</p> |
