Stamping press for electric machine laminations - has holder for adjacent tools to form radial slots and centre hole simultaneously

The circular blank (7) for the lamination of an electrical machine is clamped to the worktable which can be rotated about its vertical axis or be moved in two mutually perpendicular directions in the horizontal planes. The tool holder (3) carries two tools side by side. One of these tools stamps out a radial slot whilst the second tool simultaneously makes a cut along part of the circumference of a central hole. The blank (7) is rotated between successive operations of the tool (3) until all the required radial slots have been cut and at the same time the cutting of the central hole is completed.
