The full mantle type centrifuge with a drum system for classification or removal of solid materials from a liquid has a conical plate insert with a slotted riser channel. It is located on its outer edge by means of which fluid to be classified can enter and be distributed through the conical plate insert. The distributor foot is sealed against outer edge of the solid collector space. The liquid to be classified forms a flow direction in the region of the lowest point of the conical plate insert (7) and flows axially through the mixer channels (9).
