Thermoplastics sheet vacuum-forming portable device - with pivoting clamping frame and separately pivoting heater

The clamping frame comprises upper and lower frames, between which the thermoplastics sheet and base or tray are gripped. The entire frame is pivotally mounted on base plate so as to pivot upwards through an angle of 20-60 degrees to a position in which it is fixed. The heater is also pivotally mouned at a different point and can swing upwards through 90-130 degrees about this pivot point. The upward swing of the frame is limited by a stop and the downward swing of the heater is also limited by a stop when the heater and frame are parallel to each other. The full upward swing of the heater is limied by a second stop. The appts. i easily transportable and the heater can be plugged into any power supply. It is esp. useful as a small, portable appts. for demonstrating the vacuum forming process.
