<p>The mechanism loads material in bulk onto a round stockpile, having a discharge conveyor slewing on a stationary central column and coupled to a transfer hopper also slewing on the column. the hopper is underneath the discharge end of a feed conveyor, and has a bottom outlet above the inlet end of the discharge conveyor. A vaned rotor (41) is mounted in the hopper (37), which can have a flat bottom (47) in which the outlet (48) is formed. The height of the hopper can be virtually the same as that of the vanes (42). A drive mechanism (46) for the rotor can be mounted on the column (10), having a pinion meshing with a gear ring (43) on the rotor.</p> |
