<p>The gauge (2) is passed along two control surfaces (3, 4) and it is inserted into a test lock (1). An outer edge (20) of the gauge (2) comes in contact with a probing arm (61) of a test lever. The probing arm deflects the test lever which is rotatable about a pin (5). The other end of the pin moves over a scale or other indicating device (7) so that the separation of the gauge surfaces can be read off. Gauges with two parallel surfaces and with four surfaces may be tested.</p> |
