Making solution of solids in a continuous liquid stream - using cylindrical vessel with cartridge and perforated central tube

System dissolves solids, either pasty or as powder or granules, in a continuous liquid stream, e.g. water. It consists of a cylindrical container e.g. of transparent plastic. This is open at one end having a cover with a branch to take pipe connections e.g. screw fitting or bayonet. At one end of the container and on the inside of the cover are radial ribs. The unit is radially symmetrical. Inside it along its central axis is a perforated tube running between the liquid connections. This pipe can be removed. The number and size of holes can be varied according to the nature of solids being dissolved. For powdered solids, a mesh can be used. The solids are located in the annular space between the central pipe and the outer vessel and can be in the form of a cartridge. Esp. for use in gardening and horticulture. Many fertilisers and pesticides come in the form of solids. Up to now it has been easy to continuously blend in liquid feeds. The device permits this facility to be extended to solids e.g. for soil treatment.
