Gear pump or motor with two hears - has curved sealing plates for sensitive adjustment of seal pressure

The gear pump or motor has two engaging gear wheels with external teeth. Two independent floating seals are in contact of parts of teeth tip circumference on pump outlet side. The seals match the movements of gear wheels and the pressure forces acting on the sealing elements can be controlled with high sensitivity. The curved plate shaped sealing elements (8) are fitted between gear teeth tips and wall of the pump housing bores (2). Axial sealing strips are fitted between each sealing element and housing bore wall. Filling slots are made into concave faces of sealing curved plates. The curved sealing plate length is selected according to application.
