The regulating pump has an adjusting device loaded by adjusting pressure dependent on the pump delivery rate. A differential piston adjusts the adjusting pressure by modifying pressures upstream and downstream of an orifice in the pump outlet. This pump has high regulation sensitivity. T'e differential pressure piston (17) has a third face (30) loaded by pressure in the direction of not exerting a load on the adjusting device ring (2). The differential pressure piston (17) actuates a valve for blocking connection between pump outlet (11) upstream of orifice to the adjusting ring (2).
