Steam generator for hair care utensils - has wick stopper preventing accidental outlet of steam or water from cartridge

The steam hair care appts. includes a cartridge (1) contg. water evaporated by a hot plate. A wick (4) projects into the cartridge so that its end facing same forms a tight seal and thus the water (2) from the cartridge cannot pass the edge of the wick. Since no air bubbles can pass through the wick of the outside no vacuum can form in the cartridge so that there is no danger of injury through hot steam. The inner dia. of the cartridge (1) is equal to the outer diameter of the wick (4) which itself is pref. made of felt and mounted in a stopper element (3) which can be pushed into the cartridge.
