The concrete pile has one or more pre-stressed reinforcing bars attached at one end to a transverse plate near the pile end, coupling devices being coupled in turn to the plate. A tube (4) is fixed to the plate (3), and the reinforcing bar (8) is secured to the tube at the end furthest from the plate. A chamber with fixing devices is formed inside the tube, coaxial to the end of the bar secured to the latter. The tube can be narrower at the bar end, a head (9) on the bar bearing against the narrower portion. The inside of the tube can also be tapped, and the plate can be secured to the tube by flaring the end of the latter out over its inner edge.
