Two glass panes cut from one larger pane - using single cutting template located above worktable

Process for cutting two identical panes (II) out of a rectangular pane (I) using a single cutting template, specifically consists of the following steps: (a) marking out the first pane (II) using the template in a prescribed position above pane (I); (b) swivelling pane (I) and the template through 180 degrees w.r.t. each other round the centre of symmetry of pane (I); (c) re-using the template to cut the second pane (II); (d) transporting pane (I), on which the two panes (II) are marked, to the breaking station. Either the cutting template or pane (I) may be swivelled through 180 degrees, and the pref. machine uses a rotary work table with centering devices for pane (I), located below the cutting template; alternatively, the template may be rotated above a stationary table. Used for cutting two side ventilator windows out of one pane for motor cars.
