Coatings, contng. an allyl ether adduct with an isocyanate are prepd. by reacting isophorone diisocyanate with a polyhydroxy cpd. in the presence of a catalyst in a ratio of 1 mol. diisocyanate per hydroxy gp. and then reacting the prod. with an allyl ether of an aliphatic diol or polyol. The coatings may be used in conventional aliphatic or mixts. of aliphatic and aromatic solvents.
