<p>The system awakes a child enuretic or an adult by means of a sonic indicator in the ear, connected to the electronic ventral unit. It is of injection-moulded plastics, working off a 9-volt battery with three condensers, two transistors one variable potentiometer, five resistances, one static transformer/oscillator, one 8-ohm loudspeaker, and a 16-ohm receiver, 1400 c/s with current consumption of 50 milliamps. The system is more comfortable for the user than the conventional one where he or she is given an electric shock.</p> |
