The control system for a fitting room in a tailor's shop has a number of coded cards, a store and a reproduction unit. A card scanner transmits a code from the card to the store and the reproduction unit. A keyboard (2) supplies to the store and reproduction unit the number of people in a group, who would like to use the fitting room, together with the code of a coding card and the number of articles of dress taken into the room.
