Machine for moulding mudguards - with thermoplastic sheet ends gripped on moving carriages whilst formed by central tool

Hollow shaped or e.g. concave or curved articles are produced by gripping the opposite ends of a thermoplastic sheet in a machine carrying two carriages which move to and form each other, heating the sheet, bringing a forming tool up to shape the sheet thus stressing it and moving the carriages, cooling the sheet and removing it from the machine. Machine has simple construction and is suitable for rapid prodn. esp. of vehicle mudguards producing uniform thickness mouldings.
