<p>The frequency generator can be set to selected frequencies in decade steps according to the frequency syntheses process. A normal frequency is divided several times so that sub-harmonies of a selected overtone are indirectly fed to a series of sequentially switched mixers. Intermediate frequency filters follow the mixers. The frequency division takes place in stages at a ratio of 5:1. Frequency dividers (31, 28) having a division ratio of 2:1 are assigned to the i.f filters (30, 27) following the mixers (25, 26). The dividers (21, 22) of ratio 5:1 are connected in series with the normal frequency generator (1).</p> |
