<p>The wheel (1) of the hay harvester has an axle (2) joined to a pivot pin (6), by a forward-pointing arm (3). The pivot pin is pivot mounted on a vertical pivot axle. The pivot mounting (5) for the wheel pin (6) is joined by a support arm (7) to an axle (8) on the machine chassis which can be adjusted to any operating height. A retainer ring (9) is positioned at the top of the pivot pin (6) and is held tight by a pin (10) so that it does not move along its lengthwise axis. The crank pin (12) of the arm is connected to one end of a tension spring (13) the other end of which is joined to the support axle (8).</p> |
