The removable operating lever is designed for an electric drive in a switching plant. A lock (4) is provided on the driving part, projecting beyond its dia. Holes (6) are made in the plant wall (8) fitting the driving part and the lock (4), so that the latter (4) can pass through the holes (6) only in two well defined positions of the lever. A marking shield (5) can be provided on the wall (8) and can be fitted by means of the holes (6). A stronger metal plate (9) of about 2 mm thickness can be used as a reinforcing base.
