The drawing of safety and protective pipes for cables during pipe line compressions has several pipes compressed simultaneously in one operation through a guide piece without rigid connection. The guide piece can be selectively pulled or pushed. Using this method, there is no need to weld the pipes together during drawing and there is no need for the resultant separation after drawing. The drawn pipes are particularly applicable for subterranean supply cables, and the pipe end guide is positioned, then driven forcefully into the ground.
