Storm anchored ridge and roof tiles and battens - have loop plates and double clamps with batten recesses

The roof tiles have shaped roof battens which are designed to prevent tiles from falling off roofs in high winds and storms. The ridge or coping tile is firmly anchored with an eyeloop sheet metal plate let in at the central point. The roof tile, made of clay or cement, is fitted with a pair of double clamps, of strip metal, set into it. The shaped roof batten incorporates a double 10 mm recess. This combination of looped plates, double clamps and batten recesses ensures permanent retention of the roof covering in all conditions. An additional seal of wood and plastic can be provided for the roof batten recesses at the gable beams, and there is room for movement of the double clamps here. Screws can be used in conjunction with the loops.
