Material comprises plastics sheet which is lined with metal foil. The assembly is coated on at least one side with bitumen or bitumen/polymer compsn. The metal foil is pref. Al or Cu. It spreads the heat applied when the material is being used and prevents deterioration of the plastics sheet. Diffusion of bitumen into the plastic and discolouration are also prevented. The prod. is used in building.
