<p>Throw away cutter bits (7) with several cutting edges are used for mounting in the cutter. Interchangeable support pieces (4) are mounted under the cutter bits. The support pieces can be replaced by support pieces of a different thickness in order to vary the location of the cutting edges. If e.g. a wider cutter bit is mounted, the cutting edge of which lies further outside the cutter body, the support piece is tapered so that one face supports the cutter bit over its entire width. The cutter bits are jammed in position by a wedge piece which is forced behind the cutter bit with a screw.</p> |
