<p>The hinge has one portion fixed to the main part of the furniture and the other to the door or flap etc. the portions being joined by inner and outer control levers on spindles in both so as to form a quadrilateral extending clear of the furniture on opening. The outer lever (22) at least, which is at the front when installed engages with one of its spindles (28, 29) is eccentrically, and the eccentric point or area (34) where it engages rotates rigidly with the lever about the spindle. The latter can have a supporting washer, with which the lever end engages eccentrically.</p> |
