<p>Spring core for mattress or furniture cushion comprises a grid of slats of which the lower surfaces adhere to >=2 bars of spring material extending perpendicularly to the slats and offset from the ends of the slats towards their centres. The upper surfaces of the slats adhere to textile material. The two outer spring bars adhere to a substrate by their surfaces facing away from the alts. Pref. the textile material consists of hessian fabric, the spring bars consist of foam material or cellular rubber, and the slats consist of wood or bamboo. The substrate may be a panel, or a second grid of which teh slats extend parallel to those of the first grid and of which the surfaces facing away from the spring bars adhere to the textile material.</p> |
