A junction element, for use in a toy building set, comprises a main body portion 1 having at least one component 7 pivotally connected thereto with one degree of freedom, the component being provided with means for the connection thereto of lattice rods 11 and the body portion being provided with a groove- and-tenon connection means 14 for connection thereof to other building components of the set having corresponding connection means. Suitably there are two pivoted components 7 arranged at opposite ends of a side face of the body 1. Means 12, 13 for the rigid attachment of lattice rods may be providedin the body portion. Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 2, the pivoted component 7 may comprise two portions 15, 16 pivoted together in a plane which is at right angles to the plane in which the portion 15 is arranged to pivot relative to the main body portion. |
