<p>1417500 Dispensing liquids in gases B E ETTER 29 April 1974 [7 May 1973] 18706/74 Heading B1C [Also in Division B3] Apparatus for putting a liquid additive into suspension in a flow of industrial fuel gas (e.g. propane) comprises a closed chamber 10 having a liquid inlet conduit 36 with means such as a float valve 42, 48 associated therewith for maintaining a predetermined level of liquid in the chamber; a gas inlet conduit 50 with spargers 62 for bubbling the fuel gas through the liquid additive; and an outlet 66 for the mixture above the predetermined liquid level and leading to a conduit 14 which may be connected to a cutting track. The conduits 14, 36, 50 may each have a manual stop valve, and a float-valve 68, 70 prevents entry of liquid to the conduit 14. The conduit 50 has an additional outlet 60 for excess gas.</p> |
