<p>Mechanical writing instrument with multiple writing tips has a main part with housing walls with opposed flat faces and sidewalls, forming channel walls and defining at least 2 long, straight channels sepd. by a wall between and in a common plane between the flat faces and mutually at an acute angle and running together at a common point-shaped opening. There are at least 2 long writing elements each with a tip at one end and in one of the channels in retracted position, for reciprocation along the channel's long axis with a respective tip through the opening, into a forward writing position. The elements are at a constant angle to each other during the whole reciprocation, and are connected to hand-operated actuators running outside the main part to advance the elements in the channels. The spacing between the channel walls of the opposed flat faces forming the channels equals the dimensions of the writing elements in cross section.</p> |
