On initially insertion of plug 26, valve 18 is opened. Further movement of the plug to the left moves members 18, 20 and 86 in unison, with the valve open, until the plug is retained by balls 36. In the disengaged state of the socket, sleeve 97 is held retracted by the engagement of ring 86 with the balls 36. |
