<p>In the apparatus connected to a washing machine (1), the hot and the cold waste water are each fed to a collecting tank (6 and 7 respectively). The hot waste water is fed from the associated collecting tank (6) to a heat exchanger (3) by means of a pump (11, 12) and subsequently passes into the waste-water channel (4). The cold waste water passes out of the associated collecting tank (7) by way of a further pump (11', 12') and a filter (10) to the same heat exchanger (3), where it absorbs the heat from the hot waste water. It flows from the heat exchanger (3) to a hot-water collecting vessel (5) which is connected to the washing machine (1). The little-soiled rinsing water can then be used for a subsequent washing process. <IMAGE></p> |
