[Also in Division D1] Novel compounds of formula wherein X represents morpholino, 2,6-di-methylmorpholino, N - benzyl - N - hydroxyloweralkyl - amino, N - hydroxyethyl - N - loweralkyl - amino, N - hydroxyloweralkyl - N - cyclohexyl-amino, and Y represents hydrogen, an alkali or alkali earth metal cation, or a quartemary alkyl ammonium cation, and in instances where X is N-benzyl-N-hydroxyloweralkylamino, or N-hydroxyethyl-N-loweralkylamino, or N-hydroxyloweralkyl-N-cyclohexylamino, by the term loweralkyl is meant straight chained alkyls of 2 to 4 carbon atoms; and in each instance the hydroxy is substituted on the terminal carbon; are prepared by reaction of cyanuric chloride with sulphanilic or metalinic acid followed by reaction with diaminostilbenedisulphonic acid and finally with equimolar quantities of HX and diethanolamine. |
