<p>A devise for keeping the weight of the blankets away from a particular body zone of a sick person in bed, is adjustable for beds of different widths and heights. Two bottom profiles running along each side of the bed curve downwards at their ends forming four short legs with castors, and are braced in parallel by transverse centrally positioned profiles, one of which telescopes into the other. On each of the side members a pair of rails stand vertically and these have lengthways slots aligned to each other in a plane vertical to the bottom side member. A band of polyethylene, nylon or sheet steel is slipped into the slots so as to form an arch at a suitable height across the bed and is clamped in position.</p> |
