Collection tank for water from roof - has trough surrounding roof edge with downpipes and sieves joined to base and feeding water to tank

The water tank for collection of water from a building roof is fed by a set of downpipes (7) from troughs around the edge of the roof. The trough has a flat base with sloping sides (8) and an edge lip (8a) for support. The downpipe is joined to the base of the trough, the trough base being wider than the mouth of the pipe (7a). The entrance to the pipe is surrounded by a circular sieve (10) which is bolted to the trough by a top plate (9).
