The safety belts on motor vehicles may be fitted with reflectors. Typically the reflectors are mounted near the top end of the belt and are positioned so that they can be seen through the rear window of the vehicle, while further reflectors are positioned so as to be visible from the front. The reflectors may be stuck onto the webbing of the belt, and consist of material with small glass balls or other means of reflecting light straight back in the direction from which it has come.
