An acoustic cabinet contains two horns side by side having an increasing cross section. A delay cell reduces the size of the horns while preserving the matching and gain characteristics for the lowest wavelength. An acoustic cabinet comprises two horns side by side with a delay cell between the two horns in order to increase artificially the length of the tubes while reducing the size. The delay cell is formed from a system of enclosures in order to make a tube as long as possible with an increasing cross section. Several passive membranes increase the delay and share correctly the vibrations before they reach the small opening of the second horn.
