Room divider with two display sides - has window opening set above table height for providing different visual effects

The room divider has two display sides having a full-length closable opening (6) which is designed as a window opening set above the normal table height. This means that when necessary the separation between the two rooms can be optically removed as far as the size of the window allows whilst on the other hand the separation still remains through the part of the room divider which lies beneath the opening. The room divider can be made and supplied in one piece as a free standing unit or it can be made up in the knock-down furniture principle. It has a counter or serving plate (8) which is mounted above normal table height approximately on the level of a bar table and forms the lower edge of the opening (6).
