<p>The multi-spindle drilling machine has a table (22) with supports (27), for retention of an I-shaped carrier, with a feed in front of the table to bring the I-shaped carrier on to the supports, and an adjuster for workpiece alignment. Clamps are incorporated for the workpieces, and there is a drilling head with several spindles. This unit is displaceable towards the bearing ridge of the I-shaped carrier. Lateral drilling units are also provided, likewise with several drilling spindles, and these are displaceable towards the flange of the I-shaped carrier. The workpiece adjustment device has support blocks with stops which retain the I-shaped carried feed advance when the latter comes in contact with them. On the support blocks, end switches are fitted which switch off the advance feed drive when the I-shaped carrier end comes into contact with the support block stops.</p> |
