<p>The appliance reduces the pressure of a fluid to obtain a low rate supply at selected points. It consists of tube (2) in which a cylindrical metal body (1) if fitted. The body is provided with grooves (3) and (4) serving as inlet and outlet for the fluid. The body is also fitted with diverting baffles (5) along its entire length, creating a number of identical chambers. In each chamber further diverting baffles (6) located in axial direction are fitted. The fluid flows freely along baffles (5) to be subsequently diverted by 90 degrees when hitting baffles (6). During its travel from one chamber into the text the fluid is diverted four times. The fluid reaches the next chamber through an opening (7).</p> |
