<p>The fixing stay is used for holding the panels of tilting or combined tilting and rotating windows. The arrangement has a scissor linkage held between fixed and moving frame. Between the pivot points of the stay scissor linkage (2) is arranged at one end (9) an auxiliary or stay scissor linkage (8). The other end is pivoted on a fixing slider (11) on the adjacent moving panel frame strut (4). The slider has openings for engaging with a spring loaded lock. An actuating mechanism (6,5) with slider can be set at certain angular positions and the actuating slider can be moved for insertion as a connecting rod.</p> |
