The three-way valve (1) has a cylindrical body (2) with a transverse bore (3) to suit the rotatable plug (4). The inlet end is provided with a screw thread (7) for attachment to the water supply, and the sealing ring (12) retains the filter (11) in the bore (8). Two parallel bores (9,10) connect the two bores (8,3). By rotating the plug (4) by means of the knob (19) the inlet (10) can be connected to the outlet (15) through the holes (5) and (6). At an intermediate setting of the plug (4) both outlets (15,16) can be simultaneously connected to the inlets (9,10). A rubber pipe is connected to the nozzle (18) which is supplied by the outlet (16).
