<p>Device for the twisting and flattening of blow-extruded tubular film has diametrically arranged flattening rollers which rotate to and fro concentrically with the tubular film and downstream of which there is a co-rotating diverting body that raises the flattened film web transversely to the plane of rotation; and there is also a stationary winding-up installation. The diverting body comprises a folding device with a feed-in zone perpendicular to the film, for the film folded in half. Device occupies considerably less working space than similar machines of prior-art design. Any unevenness in film thickness does not cause distortion of the web being wound up.</p> |
