The tripod for a camera consists of a central tube with an inner adjustable tube with a screwed end and a small platform to support the camera. The tripod legs are attached by bolts to a fork which projects radially from the collar which forms part of the tube. The legs are formed from extruded aluminium sections of rectangular form with projecting wings which match grooves formed in two side members which are attached by a bolt to the struts. The side members can be clamped to the legs by the lever which rotates a threaded bolt. The upper ends of the struts are attached to the collar on the lower end of tube. |
