发明名称 BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING APPARATUS
摘要
1481117 Blood pressure measurement MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 10 April 1975 [12 April 1974(2) 16 April 1974 18 April 1974(3)] 14771/75 Headings G1G and G1N In a blood pressure measuring system, of the type in which the pressure in a cuff applied to the arm is gradually reduced from a value above that needed to occlude an artery and the Korotkoff sounds associated with re-commencement of the blood flow are monitored by a microphone, respective band-pass filters separate the heart pulse, sphygmus, and Korotkoff frequency components of the microphone signal, a respective pulse derived in each sphygmus period is used to gate the detection of the Korotkoff sound occurring in that period, the maximum blood pressure is measured when the Korotkoff sound is first detected in two or more successive sphygmus periods, and subsequently the minimum blood pressure is measured when the Korotkoff sound is first absent in two or more successive sphygmus periods. The gating of the detection reduces background noise problems of the prior art. The embodiment described with reference to Fig. 2 uses a 5-30 Hz filter to select the sphygmus component B from the microphone output A to trigger a monostable of output C from which clockpulses D are derived. Korotkoff sounds E in the range 30-200 Hz are selected by a second filter and trigger a second monostable which is enabled by gating pulses C. The output waveform F of the second monostable is fed to the data input of a shift register clocked by the pulses D. When the outputs L, M, N of successive stages of the shift register are simultaneously at the high level a latch circuit is set for registering the cuff pressure, i.e. the maximum blood pressure. As the cuff pressure decreases the Korotkoff sound level decreases until it is no longer detected and the data input to the shift register is then at the low level. When outputs L, M, and possibly N, are simultaneously at the low level a second latch circuit is set for registering the minimum blood pressure. As the frequency spectrum of the Korotkoff sounds differs at minimum blood pressure condition from that at maximum blood pressure, the bandpass of the second filter is preferably switched automatically from 30-100 Hz to 50-100 Hz after the maximum blood pressure occurrence. Details are given, Figs. 6, 7 (not shown) of AGC circuits for ensuring that the later portions of any prolonged sphygmus pulse B are unable to trigger the first monostable, so that the latter is triggered only once per sphygmus period.
