The type head is U-shaped to receive the end 18 of the type lever. The locking lever may be formed with a latching surface 104 for engagement with a complementary recess in the type head. The cam surface may comprise a locking portion 74, an intermediate portion 76 whereby extra force is applied to the type lever, and a release surface 78. A projection 48 and complementary notch 22 may be provided on the type bead and type lever. |
